Chironomia is a work for piano and electronics.
The audio files, created through various manipulations with dedicated software or generated directly in MAX, are "played" by a system. It consists of an accelerometer worn on the pianist's wrist, a Python script that recognizes the corresponding gesture using the DTW algorithm, and a MAX patch—all developed by the author.
With this setup, the need for a "laptop player" is eliminated, allowing the electronics to behave more like a "real" instrument.
