Forgiveness day is the closing piece of the concept album suite for Mimika Orchestra which deals with an imagined funeral ceremony in a lost world of preindustrial Balkans. It is a sociopolitical commentary and draws inspiration from both contemporary jazz and traditional South Slavic musical idioms.
