‘The Path Contorts as the Traces Fade’ explores the development of a single chord as it is gradually diffracted and transformed throughout the course of the piece. The hyperorgan provides unique tools for the performer to subtly manipulate elements of the sounds which wouldn’t be possible on a regular organ, allowing the piece to grow seamlessly and organically.
