Iida Hirvola is a soprano, cellist and improviser. As solo project she performs regularly the newest music for cello and voice. In 2024 she performed two roles in Joonas Pohjonen’s opera “Tiimi”. In 2025 she performs the role of “Susanna” in Mozart’s Le Nozze du Figaro. Iida Hirvola studied voice with Elena Pankratova in Kunstuniversität Graz, with Françoise Kubler in Strasbourg Music Academy, and with Reetta Haavisto in Helsinki. She attended masterclasses with Valérie Philippin (French repertoire and improvisation), Piia Komsi, Sirkka Parviainen and Kajsa Dahbäck (baroque voice). Iida Hirvola studied cello with Véronique Fuchs, Eva Böcker, Markus Hohti and Pauli Heikkinen.
