Born in Paris, Geoffroy fell into music at the age of 10 during a stayin New Caledonia for several years. There, he discovered rockbut also the rhythms of Kanak music. Back in his teens, he took up the guitar and started his first bands.
Rhythm and rhythmics being essential to him, it was only natural that at18, he took up the drums for more than ten years. From psychedelic rock to Afrobeat, garage to punk, he tried his hand at a variety of stylesbefore embarking on the Normandy Metro Verlaine adventure. It was also there that he discovered a new passion: synthesizers.
After 5 years, an EP, an album and over a hundred dates behind the drums with Metro Verlaine, Geoffroy decided to leave the band, to embark on a new analog adventure on his own.
Now based in Rennes under the pseudonym Harbinger, he explores thehorizons of electronic music, combining elements of IDM , electronica and house music.
His distinctive style is characterized by atmospheric sound texturesand captivating rhythms, taking the listener on an immersive journeythrough the vast expanses of Space.
With his compositions, he seeks to capture the essence of cosmic exploration, using sounds that evoke images of vast galaxies, interstellar exploration and the mysteries of the universe.
