The „Banatul” Philharmonic of Timișoara (Romania) is launching an international call to young composers to participate in the second edition of the Composition Competition (starting in June 2023) and Workshop, which will take place between the 18th and 21st of October 2023. The events will be part of the Remus Georgescu International Music Festival | – 10 th edition.
After the selection, which will take place between the 1st and 7th of July 2023, the Festival will invite the five winners to write a new composition by the 15th of September 2023, that will be performed in premiere during this year’s Festival Edition. In October 2023, the five composers will participate in the workshop led by Yann ROBIN (Mentor Composer).
