Call for scores for the Hamilton International Contemporary Music Festival. Our ensemble is launching a call for scores for the following instrumentation for performance in Hamilton, Ontario in 2025. Selected composers are encouraged, but not required to attended the performance. Each selected composer will receive a video/audio recording of their premiere.
Flute and or Alto flute
Clarinet and or Bass clarinet
Violin
Viola
Cello
Two percussionists
Accordion
(Possible subset of at least a quintet of our available instruments is possible).
The submitted work should not have been previously performed or published. Pieces with electronics are not accepted. Composers of all ages and in any stage of their career are encouraged to submit.
