Martyna Kułakowska – graduate student under Bogdan Czapiewski in The Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy Of Music in Gdańsk. Winner of Nationwide Audition of Chamber Ensembles with piano trio organised by Center of Artistic Education. Awarded in 50th Festival of Polish Pianism in Słupsk. Awarded of Chancellor’s Scholarship. Awarded second prize in International Interpretation Festival with music of Jaime Reis in Lisboa.
She has performed with Polish symphonic orchestra Sinfonia Baltica in Słupsk. She has recorded a promotional CD with contemporary music for Gdansk Foundation for Composers and Performers of Contemporary Music. She has attended many music workshops with brilliant musicians: Krzysztof Jabłoński, Bernd Goetzke, Piotr Paleczny, Wojciech Świtała, Rei Munakata, Lennart Dohms, Ewa Strusińska, Małgorzata Walentynowicz. She is a member of The Polish Society for Contemporary Music. She has been performing in many prestigious concert halls: The Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in Białystok, “Sinfonia Baltica” Philharmonic in Słupsk, Szczecin Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, Belveder Palace, The Danuta Baduszkowa Music Theatre in Gdynia, The Forest Theatre in Gdańsk, Castle Museum in Łańcut, Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio in Warszawa. Martyna Kułakowska was a guest on Komeda Jazz Festival and many festivals of classical music. She has been performing songs by Polish composer Karol Rostworoski with a singer Anna Thun in Polish Television – TVP Polonia during live program “Halo Polonia”.
I am a member of Microtone Duo with violinist Katarzyna Olszewska. We perform contemporary classical music.
