Raport o stanie planety

The idea of the piece was to fit the form of an opera into a relatively short amount of time. This 13-minute-long piece consists of ten movements, varying significantly from one another in terms of style. The music was composed in contrast to the text. For instance, the lyrics to the dramatic alto aria are purely informative, whereas the movement speaking about gender inequality is a joyful ensemble, written in the style of Mozart.

I composed the piece in 2019 in close collabaration with the author of the libretto, Michał Rogalski. The plot is set in a large corporation. The piece touches on topics such as the climate crisis and gender inequality.
