Laundromat Daydream consists of field recordings from San Francisco, CA, Mill Valley, CA and Atlanta, GA; USA. Laundromat Daydream encompasses the sonic journey one might hear while walking along Haight Street in San Francisco. The intention was to capture sounds from a specific moment in time and put these sound collages into a solidified space. From sounds of laundromat washing machines to grapes being squished on the sidewalk, this walking journey is woven in between textures of flowing waterfalls, piano interludes, and secrets spoken to the moon. These beautiful dreamy landscapes serve as a stark juxtaposition to the sometimes harsh sounds of Haight Street filled with noise and effervescence.
