RYAX for Solo Piano

Based on the idea of a rivulet that flows on different surfaces, in different directions and speeds, Ryax ("rivulet" in Ancient Greek) explores the notion and regulation of flow, as a composing tool and aesthetic. Inspired by the eternal and inter-temporal value of water and the concepts it carries, the music unfolds in quasi-choreographic successions of gestures and soundcolours, exploiting the entire register of the keyboard in an exchange between light playfulness and deep drama.
