Venedigen Rhapsody for Harpsichord takes inspiration from some pieces of the past, from Ligeti's Hungarian Rock, for its percussive character, and from the Italian tradition of the Seventeenth century, particularly in the slow sections there are some Recitatives that are very often found in the harpsichordist tradition. The final part is inspired by Djent music, musical genre that works a lot on the rhythmic aspect, in particular some pieces of the Armenian composer and pianist Tigran Hamasyan inspired me for their rhythmic and melodic character.
