Cyan

Cyan, a greenish-blue , is one of the primary color which can be overlaid to produce all colors in paint and color printing. Cyan also features prominently in ancient Chinese philosophy and culture. It is considered a symbol which represent hope, luck and vigor so it appears on many Chinese art, and architectures.
As a Chinese composer, I am so attracted by this elegant color so I try to use my musical language to show the beauty of cyan. I decide to create a kind of gossamer atmosphere to match the light character of cyan so I use many division on strings also many extend techniques to create hazy sound world.
