侍従-The scent of the autumn breeze

When I composed the piece, I thought about smell of incense stick. Smell isn’t seen but it is there. I wanted to express the delicate atmosphere of “smell” and I thought Viola was really suitable to express it.

The title in japanese calls “Jijyu”. It has 2 meanings, the one is entourage of the king, and the other is the name of the smell of the incense stick because it smells modest and restrained like “entourage”. I used this 2nd meaning as the title.
This incense stick is a one of japanese traditional smell. And this smell is suitable for the autumn because this traditional incense stick was inspired by the smell of the autumn wind.
