VIRGULES

Virgules is a work strongly linked to the concept of breath, translating breath as a ‘comma’ (virgule in French).

A work in three movements, it integrates the zooming technique, starting from small commas as vocal inflections, then employing the air button as a comma tail, and eventually - inspired by the virgule stroke in painting - forming mass sound commas with clusters that result in single tones.
