Tatlong Tagulaylay (Three Lamentations)

Three continuous movements draw out images in sound of the torture of political incarceration; and in each movement, sonic "shadows" of a disentangled nationalist song are heard amidst the sounds of fear, loneliness, disconnection, physical pain, chaos and disjuncture. This piece is dedicated to Mathias Spahlinger.
