Voices Visionary

Voices Visionary takes as its reference point the ethereal and haunting soundworld of Hildegard von Bingen's chant. Written for The Brompton Quartet and premiered at St. Mary the Boltons church in Kensington, London, the piece merges von Bingen's chant with disjunct, quivering sounds, which emanate ghostlike from the strings.
