Mixtur is a cultural association founded in Barcelona in 2012, with the aim of contributing to the process of creating, teaching and distributing contemporary music and sound art.

Our primary goal is to function as a meeting point between musicians, artists from other disciplines and the public. Through a diverse range of initiatives, including educational activities, commissions of new works and specially the Mixtur Festival, that takes place each October in Barcelona, we want to be an avenue for the Spanish and International public to discover and experience this art form in an environment that allows and encourages curiosity, exchange and discussion.
