Emma Baiguera first approached the classical guitar under the guidance of teacher Romina Brentan. Her academic career starts at the Conservatory of Brescia with teacher Marco Taio, and peaks with her master's graduation "cum laude" and mention from the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan under the guidance of Maria Vittoria Jedlowski in 2023. During her studies, she took special interest in researching female authors and composers, building up an original repertoire that showcases pieces from different ages and styles. Her research led to invitations to perform at events organized by associations such
as"Donne Oltre" and Milan's Conservatory very own project "Il Filo d'Arianna". She collaborated directly with composers like Beatrice Campodonico, Sonia Bo, Rita Portera, Carmen Fizzarotti and Annette Kruisbrink. As well as a performer, she is also a teacher: she has worked for "Helios Music" since 2018, and
collaborates with "Diamo il La" Association in activities for preschools as well as the creation of
musical videos for kids. Since 2022 she has worked for “MITO” Association in propedeutic music activity at elementary school in Milan. She has performed at “Le Altre Note” International Festival and collaborated with “GIA”Association in Brescia. She attended masterclass courses with teacher Enea Leone. Since 2021 she has played in a stable guitar trio with Francesco Molmenti and Davide Moneta. This project is called “In Tempore Belli” and it’s dedicated to baroque music. In 2020 and 2021 she was also invited as a guest at the Symposium of Biocentric Education of Turin. She also takes an interest in the therapeutic side of music: in 2021 she was admitted into the School of Music Therapy of Milan, and she is also a live music performer in Biodance sessions organized by her teacher, Maria Vittoria Jedlowski, both within the Conservatory of
Milan and in other projects.
