Zara Ali (* 1995) is a composer. She is the winner of the Gaudeamus Music Prize and the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Prize awarded by the Preußischer Kultur Stiftung. She was the Composer-in-Residence for IEMA from 2023-24 and is currently the Composer-in-Residence at Bielefeld Theater. She lives and works as a freelance composer in Germany. https://www.zaraali.de/
