Loïc Abdelfettah, French violist, could be describe more accuratetly like a versatile violist and as a very curious musician...but also as an enthusiast of the chamber music and the orchestral music. In other words, by sharing all forms of music. After studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon |France|, Loïc is now studying at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste |Switzerland| with Lawrence Power in a soloist specialized master performance cycle. He also followed many masterclasses : V.Hagen, G.Knox, N.Imai, T.Masurenko, T.Riebl, H.Rohde, M.Rysanov, H.Schlichtig, A.Tamestit, T.Zimmermann... and participated to several international competitions (Tokyo International Viola Competition, Streichwerk International String Competition...). In 2016, Loïc co-founded the Duo Prism which is a crazy musical laboratory experiences : discovering new repertoires for the viola and the cello, highlight creations and new pieces, working with contemporary composers, rediscovering pieces and create transcriptions. They won in 2017 the 1st prize of the Humanis chamber music competition - Centre Val-de-Loire wich allowed them to record their first recording. Loïc is passionned by the contemporary music and with creating new musical languages.
