Anna D’Errico is an artist dedicated to the music of our time. She enjoys close working relationships with established and young composers, sharing ideas, premiering new works, and devoting herself to exchanges between art forms and interdisciplinary projects.
She has toured worldwide, performing in intenational venues such as Lucerne Festival, Carnegie Hall, Wien Modern, Konzerthaus Berlin, Heidelberger Frühling, a.o., and made her debuts with orchestras including Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale RAI, La Fenice di Venezia, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana. Her most recent collaborations include solo projects with Radio France, Ircam-Centre Pompidou, ZKM Karlsruhe.
She has closely worked with composers such as Sciarrino, Lachenmann, Boulez, Poppe, Aperghis, Andre, Billone, Furrer, to name a few; she has performed with conductors Peter Eötvös, Pierre Boulez, Matthias Pintscher, Lucas Vis, Marco Angius, Ilan Volkov, Jean Deroyer.
A passionate chamber musician, she enjoys collaborating with performers such as Donatienne Michel-Dansac, Claire Chase, Uli Fussenegger, Ian Pace, Marco Fusi. A founding member of Ensemble Interface, Anna has appeared with Ensemble Modern, Ensemble Linea, Ensemble Algoritmo, Ensemble Prometeo, Ensemble Icarus and recorded for the labels Wergo, Stradivarius, Raccanto, Ars Publica and CMC Canada.
Anna has taught master classes in academic institutions around the world, such as Impuls Academy Graz, Conservatoire de Montreal, University of Minnesota Duluth, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Singapore, Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid, Sydney Conservatorium. She leads educational projects embracing contemporary music and the arts, that have been distinguished by the “Leone d’argento” Prize at the Venice Biennale, and the Abbiati Prize for Education.
She is a recipient of the Kranichsteiner Stipendienpreis at the Ferienkurse Darmstadt and of the Pianist/Composer Commissioning Project issued by the Yvar Mikhashoff Trust for New Music.
