Sävellyspaja 2025 International Composition Masterclass & Workshop

Next summer (June 23-29, 2025), the International Sävellyspaja Composition Masterclass will be organized by the Sävellyspaja-yhdistys ry. The teachers are Jukka Tiensuu and Tomi Räisänen. For the workshop concert, each participant will write a new composition. Avanti! Chamber Orchestra will perform the new works in a public concert as part of the Avanti! Summer Sounds Festival in Porvoo, Finland. The selected participants will receive the detailed instrumentation and composing task later. You can read more information on the past events and instrumentations on the Sävellyspaja website. The event is aimed mainly at professional students in composition. The participation fee is 495€.
