Divertimento Ensemble is launching an international call for composers who wish to be part of a collective aimed at a collective musical composition.
The musical ensemble (minimum of 5 to a maximum of 10 performers), the presence and type of electronics or other media, and more generally the performative form the project will take will be proposed by the collective and agreed upon during the first online meeting (January 2025).
Participants can apply as a group (if they are already part of a collective or intend to do so) or as individuals who would like to meet other composers who wish to form a collective.
The collective may consist of between 3 and 5 composers, to which may be added one or two figures-among other artists, videomakers or other professionals-chosen by the collective.
Participants must not have reached the age of 36 on December 15, 2024, and must and reside in Europe.
For the work done together, each member of the collective will receive a commission of €2,000.
