Call for Scores 2025

With the aim of promoting contemporary musical creation, and on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of LES MUSICALES D’ASSY FESTIVAL, LONTANO Quartet is launching a call for compositions for string quartet :

The proposed work(s) must be, of your choice:

1) A creation
2) A work written within the last 10 years (not before January, 1st 2015)

> The duration of the proposed work must not exceed 20 minutes.

> The call does not include works with added electronics

LONTANO Quartet will select a minimum of 5 works, a maximum of 10 works, from the 2 categories above.

Jury: All applications will be studied by the Lontano Quartet.
Instrumentation: String quartet, without electronics and without audio installation
Duration: 20’ max

The selected works will be performed at the Les Musicales d'Assy 2025 festival (Haute-Savoie) : https://www.lesmusicalesdassy.fr/
A recording will be made available to the laureates of the call.
