-Likewise, if a participant does not have any sketches or drafts of works in process, they will be able to compose an unedited work during the workshop with the respective consultancies and revisions.
-The works made for the Trio Kinich must have a minimum duration of 5 minutes and a maximum duration of approximately 9 minutes.

About the Workshop:

The Composition Workshop for Piano Trio is a space for artistic creation and production that promotes the elaboration of contemporary concert music composition projects for flute, violin, and piano. The workshop works in close collaboration with the Trio Kinich and the tenured professors Luis Santiesteban and Eduardo Orea.

During the Workshop, the tenured professors will advise the participants on the development of their works. Likewise, the Trio Kinich will carry out reviews of sketches and/or advances in the works of the participating composers. The Trio Kinich is an ensemble that proposes an interpretation based on theoretical analysis, hence providing a broader perspective to the composers.
