idiōma I for cello and electronics is the first piece of a cycle in which I explore the relationship between the sounds of solo instruments and their electronic transformations. Conceived as sketches or studies that address the idiom of a particular instrument and the possibility of its reinterpretation in a "new and unknown language". The intention was to realize a sound habitus that examines and transforms the role of the soloist and acoustic nature of the instrument by electronic means. The structure of idiōma I is a triptych that faces three concepts of reflection on musical time, instrumental idioms and formal elaborations.
