An eclectic and sparkling artist, Sarah Brabo-Durand invests the stage space as a sacred place for experimentation, exploration and sharing, and the voice as a modular and protean material.

After a master's degree in image and sound, specialising in music (ISB), a diploma in musical studies in operatic singing and a specialisation in contemporary singing obtained cum laude with Françoise Kubler in Strasbourg, she co-founded the duo Átomos, the ensemble AxisModula and the duo Viajantès, while at the same time carrying out projects with various ensembles (Voix de Stras', XXI.n, Réponses XX-XXI...) as well as as a soloist. Awarded the prize for the best performer in the San Marino Academy competition (improvisation and musical theatre), she has performed at the Avignon Festival and the Musica Festival, and has worked on the creation of new repertoire alongside many composers in Europe and Brazil. Constantly searching for forms that are best suited to contemporary aesthetic and societal issues, she brings together her experience as a performer, sound engineer and vocalist in the service of innovative performance projects at the crossroads of artistic disciplines.
