Annaroosa Lampela is a Finnish trombonist with a passion for modern music. Especially solo and chamber music are close to her heart. Lampela is eager to expand the image of the trombone to a more fragile and gentle side. She is collaborating with several composers and actively organising concerts and projects. Lampela is intrigued by improvisation and has attended different workshops. Lampela is a founding member of a contemporary music quartet called Hai.

Lampela studied at the Sibelius Academy from 2013 to 2019 under Darren J. Acosta and Valtteri Malmivirta. In 2015-16 she was an exchange student in Hanover in the class of Prof. Jonas Bylund. Lampela finished her bachelor’s degree in 2017. Currently she is studying in Copenhagen at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under Jesper Juul and Torbjörn Kroon. Lampela will attend the Lucerne Festival Academy in August 2021.
