The British-German musician, Jean Beers, has studied piano, composition and musicology in London, Cologne, Hanover and Luxembourg. At the age of 15, alongside her schooling at the specialist music school The Purcell, she studied piano at the Royal Academy in London. Aged 17 her first composition for orchestra was performed publically, which was followed by many performances of her works at renowned halls and festivals in Europe over the years. Her doctoral project was graciously sponsored by the German Exchange Service. Her energy and passion for inclusivity in music of several styles, genres and countries is the driving force in her current projects.
