Connor Fogarty is a twenty-year-old composer who Connor began his formal composition training at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) as part of a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music) where he graduated with distinction in 2018. His composition mentor at USQ was Professor Rhoderick McNeill. In 2019, he began an Honours year at the Elder Conservatorium of Music under the supervision of Professor Graeme Koehne and Professor Charles Bodman Rae.
Connor has had several works performed:
• Overture for Orchestra: Performed by Toowoomba Concert Orchestra (2017)
• Six Preludes for Solo Piano: Recorded by Maree as part of the SOMSA Recording Project at the University of Auckland's School of Music Theatre (2017)
• Sinfonia for Orchestra: Performed by Brisbane Regional Youth Orchestra (2018)
Connor is also a collaborator and is keen to explore potential connections between music and other disciplines.

His collaborative projects include:
• The Unquiet: score to the feature-length horror film by the USQ film and TV department (2018)
• Brief Encounters: Multi-discipline project at the Empire Theatre, where he was paired with theatre artist Wren Condren to create a 7-10 minute multidisciplinary work in two weeks.
