Among our current and upcoming sessions, PARMA Recordings is highlighting a newly available recording opportunity with the internationally-acclaimed Trio Casals:
“technically virtuosic” - The Whole Note
“imaginative and exhilarating performance” - Take Effect

Please note before submitting: this opportunity requires funding to be secured by or on behalf of composers of approved pieces; composers retain full ownership of their resulting masters and artistic direction of the project. PARMA’s team is available to assist with planning, approvals, and outward-facing documentation to assist toward the generation of project funding for approved pieces.

Projects are to be recorded with piano trio Trio Casals in 2022 and produced by PARMA’s GRAMMY-winning team for release on Navona Records. These compositions will also be performed by the trio in a concert at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall.

Projects include:
Studio recording
Full ownership of the resulting master recording
Commercial release of the recording on an album with worldwide digital distribution
All post-production, design of all album visual elements, and promotional support
Attendance at the recording session either virtually or in person
Multiple GRAMMY Award-winner Brad Michel (PARMA’s Senior Producer, North America) is available to produce approved sessions.
Performance by Trio Casals in a concert at Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall

Submissions for this opportunity may include works for:
piano trio
cello and violin
cello and piano
solo cello
Works will ideally be between 10 and 15 minutes in length.
