Klexoslab 2021 composition course is aimed at both professional composers and composition students. During the lessons and ateliers, participants will work on their compositional ideas in a collaborative group setting with international teachers and ensembles of the highest level.
In accordance with the aesthetics and ideas inherent to Klexos, the course proposes an interdisciplinary training that includes the refinement of writing for acoustic and electronic instruments, as well as the use of new media and performative elements applied to stage creation. Students will have composition classes with Marko Ciciliani, technological experimentation workshops with Pedro González and reading sessions and a concert with the ensembles Mosaik and Klexos. Also this year, composers who wish to participate in the composition contest "Klexoslab 2021" will be able to do so.
Composers who wish to participate in the reading sessions will send the sketches or finished scores they want to work on with the ensembles before June 18. They will be reviewed and worked on with Marko Ciciliani online and then resubmitted with the agreed changes by June 28.
