We kindly invite you to take part in the 3rd International Mieczysław Karłowicz Composers’ Competition. We look forward to receiving original, unpublished, unperformed, and unawarded works. Entries will be accepted from June 1 to August 31, 2024. The theme of the competition is a Composition for a symphony orchestra, with a duration time of 9 to 12 minutes.
The prize pool for the competition is 40,000 euros, with the following awards:
1st Prize – 15,000 euros
2nd Prize – 11,000 euros
3rd Prize – 7,000 euros
Two honorable mentions – 3,500 euros each
The competition’s final will take place at the Szczecin Philharmonic and will be a regular ticketed concert, during which the audience will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite.
