Festival Mixtur, new sound creation festival of Barcelona, in collaboration with Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, opens the registration for the Improvisation Workshop Mixtur 2022. The workshop will be taught by Lotte Anker.
The Improvisation Workshop Mixtur 2022 is aimed at both students and professionals, with no age limit.
Workshop teacher
The Improvisation Workshop Mixtur 2022 will be taught by saxophonist and composer Lotte Anker, specialized in the fields of improvisation, experimental jazz and contemporary music.
The workshop will take place on October 12 and 15 2022. Lotte Anker will adapt the content of the workshop depending on the number of the attendees and the instruments they play. The workshop will consist of the following activities:
-3 working sessions (October 12, 13 and 14 from 10.00 h to 13.30 h).
-Final concert that will be part of the Festival Mixtur 2022 official programme (October 15 from 10.00 h to 13.30 h).
-Lotte Anker will give a Master Class in which she will present her work as improviser and composer.
-Master Classes given by teachers from Composition and Sound Experimentation Workshop Ann Cleare, Isabel Mundry, Enno Poppe and José María Sánchez-Verdú are also part of the programme.
-Besides participating in the workshop, enrollment also includes free access to some of the festival activities, for both active participants and visiting students.
