Born in Strasbourg, Odile Heimburger starts playing the violin at the age of three and studies first in strasbourg then in Rueil-Malmaison and Paris . In 2003 she goes to Royal College of Music in London to follow Zhislin Russian School teaching. She starts having regular singing lessons at the RCM and decides to go on a Master course of Solo singing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London . She then discovers contemporary music with the great Sarah Walker who created a class , "Creative Voices" where composers and students work together on composing and performing new pieces . Odile gets her Master with "excellence" grade and goes back to France in 2010 where she wins several competitions including "Enesco" competition with the special prize for the best interpretation of a contemporary piece. Odile Heimburger works a lot with stage directors as well as she believes that acting is completely part of the performing and singing process. She lately performed in a création about madness which got great reviews from Forum Opera and others ..
