Baptiste Ramond est un guitariste à la curiosité insatiable l’amenant de la musique ancienne à l’improvisation libre. Ayant suivi l’enseignement de Tristan Manoukian, il est diplômé en 2020 d’un Master du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, avec les honneurs. Animé à son tour par l’envie de transmettre, il enseigne depuis Septembre 2019 au Conservatoire Nina Simone à Romainville. Il forme également un duo de guitares avec son comparse Vincent Kappes, proposant un programme varié associant pièces originales et transcriptions. En 2018, ils participent notamment au Festival international de Guitare « Sul Tasto », et en 2019 au 16ème Festival International de guitare de Paris. Ils se produisent également à l’occasion d’évènements pour des causes sociales.
Après avoir commencé la guitare à six ans au Conservatoire d’Ozoir-la-Ferrière (Seine-et-Marne), c’est auprès de Tania Chagnot, qu’il découvre le riche répertoire contemporain de la guitare, qu’aujourd’hui il souhaite défendre et promouvoir auprès du public. Il participe notamment aux éditions 2017 et 2019 du festival ManiFeste - organisé par l’IRCAM - au sein de l’ensemble ULYSSES, sous la direction de Heinz Holliger et Matthias Pintscher, en collaboration avec l’Ensemble Intercontemporain. Il est également membre du Listen Ensemble, orchestre de chambre à géométrie variable, qui propose des projets faisant interagir les nouvelles technologies avec le langage musical.
Lauréat de plusieurs prix de concours, son parcours lui a permis de rencontrer des grands noms de la guitare lors de masterclasses, et de bénéficier en particulier des conseils de Judicael Perroy.

Baptiste Ramond is a guitarist with an insatiable curiosity which brings him from early music to free improvisation. After studying with Tristan Manoukian, he graduates Master’s degree with honors at the Paris National Conservatoire (CNSMDP) in 2020. Baptiste is also teaching since Septembre 2019 at Conservatoire Nina Simone in Romainville. He plays regularly in a guitar duet along with his partner Vincent Kappes, with a varied program of original compositions and transcriptions. They participated in Sul Tasto Guitar Festival in 2018 and the 16th International Guitar Festival in Paris in 2019. They also play together during special events for social causes.
After having started the guitar at the age of six, he develops his interest in the contemporary repertoire thanks to Tania Chagnot, and wishes now to promote it to the public. He participated in festival ManiFeste 2017 and 2019 within the ULYSSES ensemble directed by Heinz Holliger and then Matthias Pintscher, collaborating with the Ensemble Intercontemporain. He is also a member of the Listen Ensemble, a chamber orchestra which proposes projects that make new technologies interact with musical language. Laureate of several competitions, he also had the privilege to meet leading figures of the guitar world during masterclasses, and benefits from the advice of Judicael Perroy.
