He has studied piano with Alessandro Commellato, Andrzej Tatarski, Pier Narciso Masi, Contemporary Music with Maria Grazia Bellocchio, Emanuele Arciuli and Chamber Music with Bruno Canino.

He finished his Bachelor's Degree in Composition in Conservatorio “G. Verdi” in Milano with Giorgio Tedde; currently he's studying for complete his Master's Degree.

In 2019 he won 2nd prize ex-aequo (first not assigned) in ASSAMI Composition Competition.

His music was played in Copenaghen Royal Academy of Music, International Guitar Festival in Lagonegro, “Il mondo della Chitarra” - Conservatorio “G. Cantelli” of Novara, “Music as Play Festival” in Como.

Gaston Polle Ansaldi has performed, mainly as a chamber musician and as an ensemble pianist, in important venues such as Teatro alla Scala (Ridotto dei palchi “A. Toscanini”), Auditorium Parco della Musica, Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Accademia Filarmonica Romana, Academia Chilena de Bellas Artes in Santiago del Cile, GAM in Milano, Circolo della Stampa of Torino, Stresa Festival, Festival Aperto of Reggio Emilia, Mantova Chamber Music Festival, Stagione Rondò - Divertimento Ensemble, Festival Trieste Prima, Fondazione William Walton. 

Gaston Polle Ansaldi has played, among others, with Isang Enders, Andreas Willwohl, Simone Bernardini, mdi ensemble, Quartetto Indaco.

As a student of Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Gaston Polle Ansaldi was the pianist of Ensemble Giorgio Bernasconi , also taking part in concerts with the Academy Orchestra. Among the most significant performances, the first absolute performance of Luca Mosca's opera La cortina di gala, the first Italian performance of Frank Zappa's The Yellow Shark .
As a soloist, he played Hugues Dufourt's L'Amérique d'après Tiepolo, Alban Berg's Kammerkonzert in duo with violinist Lorenzo Gentili Tedeschi (MDI Ensemble).

As an orchestral musician he also collaborated with Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana; he was directed by Fabio Luisi, David Coleman, Dennis Russell Davies, Gabor Tacáks-Nagy, Peter Rundel, Maxime Pascal, Marco Angius, Tito Ceccherini, Renato Rivolta, Antonio Ballista, Carlo Boccadoro, Salvatore Sciarrino, playing in contexts like Teatro Petruzzelli, Teatro Politeama, IUC in Roma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Festival della Valle d'Itria.
