International Composition Masterclass

From 27 to 30 August 2024 in Trento (Italy), MotoContrario organizes, within the 10th ed. Festival Contrasti 2024, the

INTERNATIONAL COMPOSITION MASTERCLASS 2024 held by MALIN BÅNG, acclaimed as one of the most significant authors in the contemporary musical creation panorama.

MASTERCLASS

Open to composers of all ages and nationalities and is scheduled along four days and includes:
- two individual composition classes for each effective participant,
- a public lecture held by Malin Bång,
- five concerts held by Opificio Sonoro, Curious Chamber Players, Schallfeld ensemble and Ensemble MotoContrario,
- reading session, by MotoContrario Ensemble, of the scores of the selected composers,
- final concert with students works by Ensemble MotoContrario

APPLICATION

- link to at least two (2) scores for different instrumentation (solo, chamber ensemble, big ensemble…) in pdf format uploaded online;
- link to the recordings of the scores (NOT mandatory);
- artistic and academic curriculum vitae
