International composition masterclass with Andrew Norman at UML festival 2024

HOW TO APPLY
Apply to the masterclass via Google Form (requires login with Google account), deadline of the applications is 24.3.2024 at 23:59 (UTC +2). Applicants are asked to submit a short CV, short letter of motivation (max 1000 characters), one score in pdf format, and one recording.
TUITION FEE
Tuition fee is 450 € and it includes homestay accommodation.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Seven students will be selected to attend the masterclass. In preparation, selected participants will compose a new piece for string trio, 3-5 minutes in duration (without electronics). In addition, students will take part in round-table discussion session with all the other students as well as have access to all festival events during the week.
Students are expected to arrive in Oulu on Wednesday morning (2.10.2024). Homestay accommodation is included in the tuition fee, hotel accommodation is available for extra charge.
The Tuition (450 €) includes:
-two individual lesson of 45 minutes with prof. Norman during the festival
-round-table discussion session, where each student presents their work
-preliminary session via Zoom in June
-rehearsal and performance of the new works (performers announced later)
-the concert performance recorded on video and published on UML YouTube Channel
-homestay accommodation organized by the festival (free) or
-hotel accommodation (extra charge of 90 € per night)
-free admittance to all festival eventst)
