International Composition Institute of Thailand

International Composition Institute of Thailand (ICIT 2024) is an intensive and unique experience for young composers around the world to experiment their own sonic and conceptual ideas with highly artistic performers, ensemble and participate in in-depth sessions with professional contemporary living mentors/composers. In this edition, we are focusing on sonic creativities, materials in interdisciplinary concepts and techniques in music technology. Participant composers will be able to meet our faculty online throughout the year to build the strength in their composition and ultimately to work with the ensemble at the festival. ICIT’s faculties this year are including: Christopher Dietz (USA), Eleni Ralli (Greece/Switzerland), Jason Thorpe Buchanan (USA/Germany), Emily Koh (USA/Singapore), Scott Wilson (UK/Canada), Jiradej Setabundhu (Thailand).

Application Deadline: 1st JUNE 2024 (No Application Fee!)

Prize: The winner will receive $1,500 USD, a commission for IntAct 2025 Participants

Fee: $1,050 USD (including lessons, lectures, rehearsal times, concert performance and professional documentation of recordings and videos)
