Call for women/+s composers

The Festival Mujeres en la Música Nueva [Women in New Music Festival] is a Colombian project that started in 2017 with the purpose of creating spaces to promote academic contemporary and experimental music made by women/+s.

In 2024 we will feature Jesús Buendía Puyo as performer of electronic music.

Opening: 13 / February / 2024
Deadline: 07 / June / 2024
Results: 20 / July / 2024

Application Guidelines

-All women/+s composers without restrictions of age or nationality are invited to apply to this call.
-Composers should complete the form (link in the web pages)
-Submissions will be received until the 7th of June, 2024.
-Submitted compositions must be Electroacoustic music [Fixed medium: stereo or quadraphonic].
-There are no restrictions in the duration of the pieces.
-FMMN is a collaborative project and as such will not cover performance costs.
-Each composer may submit all desired compositions, and must complete one form for each piece.
-Include a link to a streaming platform that contains the audio file, such as SoundCloud, YouTube, Bandcamp, Dropbox, Bandcamp, Drive, official websites, etc.
