The competition is open to composers of all nationalities, without age limits. Each composer may participate with only one composition.
Compositions must be unpublished and never played, on pain of exclusion from the competition.
Compositions may belong to any tendency, genre, or musical form, as long as they comply with the technical specifications set out in this announcement.
Compositions must be inspired by the folk song indicated in the web pages.
The minimum duration of the piece must be 5 minutes, the maximum approximately 10 minutes. The piece can be divided into various movements.
Scores must be submitted by no later than June 15, 2024.
