Masterclass with Francesco Zago Crossover Ensemble

The aim of the Masterclass in Crossover ensemble music is to provide participants with a set of structural tools to move in a musical and professional panorama that is increasingly articulated and unconstrained by the boundaries between genres and forms of enjoyment. The cycle of meetings aims to explore the sound world of contamination and experimentation, without linguistic, stylistic or historical preclusions. From the most radical contemporaneity to the encounter between different genres, from electronics to non-idiomatic improvisation, from transcriptions to arrangements of music from different eras, ranging from ancient repertoire to popular music.
